She is also certified as a Senior Practitioner in Human Resources and has training and experience in employee health as well as working with individuals and organizations moving through transition.
"I am a teacher and coach at heart. It is important to me to see and treat each client as a whole person, not just a sore back or an upset stomach or a cancerous breast. I often help clients mend all the pieces together as they remember how to live as a whole person who happens to have one or more health conditions.
Many of my clients are passionate about wanting information and resources to live well and prevent health conditions before they occur. Being present to each person's journey and providing timely information is a privilege."
"It was in my work with employees with long-term injuries and illness in the early 90's when I came to discover acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Many of these employees had been through everything the medical system had to offer and were still not well. I began to research other forms of credible treatment. I tried acupuncture and Chinese medicine for my own health and found it to be life-changing. That led me to pursue my master's degree in Oriental Medicine and combine it with my nursing and employee wellness background to provide broader options for those I serve."
